Yesterday I went searching for a way to embed pdf documents in my post. Searching Google I found Scribd (again). But in order to use it I needed a plugin to work on my free multi blog wordpress site (free wordpress blog site with many nice plugins) and installed this plugin.

I went searching for “Scribd Wordpress Plugin” and the first page presented by Google was this Scribd page http://www.scribd.com/doc/2149154/Scribd-iPaper-Plugin-for-Wordpress. Have a look at it. It’s nothing but a pdf page with a link to the plugin author’s website. This was odd and interesting.

After I installed the plugin and got my post the way I wanted I decided to go searching for Scribd benefits.

And this is the unique idea to get more traffic that I want to share with you.

Go and read about this traffic idea and consider adding pdf’s, with links to your website at, to Scribd.

You can become more social by turning your iLocals.info blog into a community blog. All you need to do to see how this works is to sign in or signup. And you can go to add a new post.

How to as explained by the creator of the community blog plugin:

Community Blogs settings are configured in the Settings > Community Blog admin form which is available to blog admins.

• Enable this plugin: which turns off new user registrations but leaves the plugin activated
• Default User Role: for new users as Editor, Author or Contributor
• Allow All Registered Users: when set to Yes then any member of the BP community can become a registered user at the default role on that blog. When set to No the Community Blogs plugin becomes a Group Blogs plugin.
• Groups To Allow Access: is a list of the BuddyPress Groups that can become registered users. More that one group can be given access if you like. The group slugs are used to specify what groups have immediate registration access to the blog. This allows blog admins to configure the plugin without the Site Admin having to give them group ids. If the blog admin can find the group slug they can configure access.

I was looking for a classified ad plugin  for Coffee News. The idea is that classified ads, if  used and promoted, can drive traffic to your site. I found a few plugins but it was not easy to choose. I have installed wp-classifieds.

All you need to;

1. Login to the administration and go to “admin panel/plugins” and activate the plugin
2. Go to the “Manage” tab of your WP. You have now there a new tab called “wpClassified” to configure the plugin.

When you want to sell anything a photo, a gallery and a slide show will make the difference. And NextGen Gallery is making the difference for people who create online newsletters, blogs and websites at iLocals.Info.

The learning curve to use NextGen effectively exists. But it’s all worthwhile. Although I am no expert yet I was able to create a vary nice gallery for the real estate I sell.

This is what I did:

I created a gallery for each home for sale.

I created a page for each home for sale.

All these pages where sub pages of the one main for sale page.

And then I created a photo album from all the galleries.

Now, if you go to the main for sale page you’ll see the album and when you click on an album your are taken to the sub pages with the galleries.

Neat! Well that’s what I thought. And you can sell or brag with anything using NextGen Gallery. The plugin is installed on your iLocals.Info blog.

But before I brag let me get back to earth. Just when I thought I know a little bit about NextGen Gallery I came across this amazing use of NextGen Gallery to sell Real Estate.
